The pet bowl is an item that can be bought from the Carpenter's shop for 5000g and 25 hardwood. There are 3 variants.

The '''Pet Bowl''' is a [[Carpenter's Shop#Farm Buildings|farm building]] purchasable from [[Robin]] at the [[Carpenter's Shop]]. One free Pet Bowl is provided to the player at the start of their file for their free [[Animals#Pets|pet]]. This free Pet Bowl remains on the farm, even if the player declines to adopt the pet.
 
Additional Pet Bowls do not have to be constructed before adopting more pets from [[Marnie's Ranch]]. However, for every night that a pet does not have its own Pet Bowl, they will lose 10 [[Animals#Friendship|friendship points]] the next morning.<ref name="petnobowl" /> Pets that do not have a Pet Bowl will be unable to exit the [[Farmhouse]].<ref name="petnobowl" /> Watering the pet's bowl will increase the pet's friendship by 6 points by the next morning.
