After killing at least 50 Dangerous Monsters ^[1], Galaxy Souls can be purchased from the Island Trader on the last day of a season for Radioactive Bar (10).

After killing at least 50 Dangerous Monsters ^[2], Galaxy Souls can be dropped by any Dangerous Monster.
- The drop chance ranges from 0.098% to 0.102%, depending on Luck ^[2].
- Note that Shadow Snipers and Putrid Ghosts do not count as Dangerous Monsters unless the Mines are at difficulty level 2 ("Danger in the Deep" quest and Shrine of Challenge both active).

Semi-transparent Big Slimes containing a Galaxy Soul can be seen in the "Dangerous" Mines or "Dangerous" Skull Cavern.^[3] The Galaxy Soul is dropped upon killing the Big Slime.

The Galaxy Soul is used in the Forge to upgrade a Galaxy Weapon into an Infinity Weapon. The player must upgrade a Galaxy Weapon 3 times, consuming 3 Galaxy Souls and 60 Cinder Shards in total.
