They look and behave similarly to Rock Crabs, but hide under a Truffle instead. They can appear regardless of whether monster spawns on the Farm are enabled or not.

Too many truffles will turn one of you barn pigs into a docile crab-like monster. This is a rare event that occurs when you leave too many truffles lying around your barnyard. You can move the truffle crab to another barn, not to a coop. It's name is the name of the pig it used to be, but you can change this. It can be killed with your axe, pick axe, or weapon.
