This is a documentation of "Help Wanted" Item Delivery Quest system, as the way it is currently described is incomplete and inaccurate. Will probably get expanded onto other daily quests, as well as some specifics on Garbage Can items.
This page details some information about "Help Wanted" quests which may be too bulky for the main page

Most of the information here is taken from <samp>ItemDeliveryQuest</samp>, <samp>Utility::possibleCropsAtThisTime</samp>, <samp>Utility::getRandomBasicSeasonalForageItem</samp>.

*Note: Techinically there are different odds for fish like Pufferfish, as it can only be requested by Willy, or Red Snapper, as it's the only one Willy may not request during Winter. Again, this table's goal is not providing odds but the general overview. This note, too, will be deleted in time.

*Note: The formulas used to determine the amount of resources to gather are too complex to include any reasonable ranges. "usually 20-40", you say? Good 'nuff.
*Note: This also applies to the reward for the quest, as it's determined using the value different from the final amount requested.
*Note: This leaves nothing of note, actually. I had a tasty meal today.

*Garbage Cans use the same code as generic + seasonal lists (i.e. all of the above, except for crops), as well as specific trash items already listed on the Garbage Can page. I'll fix the mines-related lists there eventually. This section will not be present in the article.

**Spring code also adds another copy of Seaweed and Joja Cola to the Spring list before adding it to the generic one. Do they stack with the generic ones? Are these two items more likely to be requested during Spring due to being duplicated on the list? Not quite certain, but dabbling into the odds is beyond the scope of this article.

Notes

  • Item-Delivery-Quest:
    • Supposedly, some cooked dishes can be requested too. Specifically recipes known by player, all ingredients of which can be acquired during the current season, i.e. are either in the above Crop list or the Seasonal Items list. I have not seen or heard about the cooked dishes being requested, so there are two options:
      • 1) I've misread the code, or it is modified elsewhere, and something prevents them from being added to the list entirely. Likely.
      • 2) By the time players have access to the recipes, they are sufficiently lategame and don't check the HW board anymore. Plus the odds of the recipe being added and picked are fairly slim too. Still possible, but unlikely.
