Speed is a statistic that affects how fast the player moves. It can be affected in a variety of ways.

Weapons have their own speed statistic, which is separate from Player Move Speed.

The following buffs affect move Speed.

Coffee	+1 Speed	It smells delicious. This is sure to give you a boost. Note: Coffee's speed boost stacks with other speed boosts.	1 minute 23 seconds
Crab Cakes	+1 Speed	Crab, bread crumbs, and egg formed into patties then fried to a golden brown.	15 minutes 10 seconds
Pepper Poppers	+1 Speed	Spicy breaded peppers filled with cheese.	7 minutes
Spicy Eel	+1 Speed	It's really spicy! Be careful.	7 minutes
Super Meal	+1 Speed	It's a really energizing meal.	3 minutes 30 seconds
Tipsy	-1 Speed	Drinking Alcohol	30 Seconds
Slimed	-4 Speed	Being hit by a Slime	2.5 to 3 Seconds
