It is possible to place bins (or other [[equipment]] such as [[slime incubator]]s or [[preserves jar]]s) around town in many locations. This is useful to allow the player to have baits near their [[crab pot]]s or fishing spots. If a [[villager]] walks through the square where a worm bin or other piece of [[equipment]] was left, the item will be destroyed. Below are player-created maps to indicate which tiles on the map are safe from [[villager]]-pathing.

Any worm bins placed outside of the farm, such as on the beach for their proximity to [[Crab Pot|crab pots]], will vanish in 3 days, rendering it impossible to make a bait farm outside of the farm.
