It is the only other fish that can be caught in the Desert, besides the Sandfish. Since it is more valuable than the Sandfish, it is also more rare to get a bite from a Scorpion Carp, and the difficulty is significantly greater. Catching the Scorpion Carp requires Fishing level 4, either naturally or by using fishing Buffs.

Due to the small size of the fishing area, it may be impossible to catch gold quality fish in the desert pond.
