Players with the Luremaster profession don't need to refill the pots with bait.

They are very useful for increasing your fishing level without actually having to fish. Fish caught with Crab Pots (Lobsters, crabs, etc.) also count towards the Mother Catch Achievement.

Crab pots can be crafted, or purchased for data-sort-value="1500">1,500g at Willy's Fish Shop once you've reached fishing skill level 3. Three Crab Pots are the reward for completing the Crab Pot Bundle in the Fish Tank.

The day after placing a crab pot, the following items can be found in it:

Notes

Upon taking the Luremaster profession, Crab Pots no longer need to be baited. However, this can cause some inconvenience for harvesting, as attempting to automatically harvest them will also automatically collect the crab pot, even while holding bait. This can be prevented by harvesting crab pots with an open hand, as an open hand cannot accidentally collect the Crab Pots.
