It can be obtained from breaking rocks around the map and in The Mines (floors 1 - 39), or dropped by Duggies. It may also be found in Fishing Treasure Chests or received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star. The geode can be broken open by Clint in the Blacksmith shop for the cost of data-sort-value="25">25g. It comes in 3 variants: the Frozen Geode, the Magma Geode, and the Omni Geode.

Note that obtaining Iron Ore from a Geode is only possible after reaching level 25 of The Mines. Before reaching level 25, cracking a Geode at the Blacksmith will give Copper Ore instead.
