Hi!
I'm a veteran editor with some CSS and template knowledge. I'm mostly active on wikipedia and wikia/fandom sites, notably WoWpedia and Mass Effect Wiki. I've edited the EVE University wiki too.
Notes
- Shop Schedules (also in draft below) and User:Techhead7890/shopstock
- Villager Paths for placing items
- Fish by location (subcategorised by season and time); Profitable Sashimi and User:Techhead7890/fish
- Gifts per year is 33 total; 2days x4weeks x4seasons plus birthday making 32+1. See also List of All Gifts
- Combat difficulty: Red Mines = Quarry Mine (200HP Sludges); Skull Cavern (150-300HP), Volcano Dungeon (380-415), Qi Dangeous variants.
- Crop profit formulae and artisan multipliers
- https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Labeled_Section_Transclusion
- Use
<section begin="Anchovy" />to mark the appropriate area of the page. - #lst: is common for copying parts of tables to their seasonal pages; eg, to copy the row data to the "table of fish available during Spring"
- Use
- List of sandbox pages
- Useful equipment: Kegs produce many loved items (fr8); Tapper produces various fertilizer and equipment; Recycling Machine (Fi4) produces materials.
- Despite being purchased from the Carpenter's Shop, the Telephone and Workbench are considered equipment and not available from the Furniture Catalogue
- Warp Totem teleports, see Crafting#Consumables for ingredients (typically hard wood + some forage items. Mountains requires an iron bar but this is somewhat obsolete with the Minecart system).
- Minecarts and the Witch's Hut also serve as fast travel functions.
- Self FYI, they're "elemental" Obelisks, not location ones, so it's "Water" and "Earth" not Ocean/Mountains. This is actually opposite to the names of the totems (Warp Totem: Beach not Warp Totem Water)
- Exotic fruits/seeds: Starfruit Seeds (Oasis), Sweet Gem Berry/Rare Seed, Ancient Seeds
- 10k cost items:
Backpack or two steel tools. Big Coop, Farmhouse kitchen upgrade (ie for cooking), Stable (requires hardwood), Vault bundle. Alternatively, 40 cranberry seeds. - x00k items: Furniture Catalogue, Obelisks (see Wizard's Tower#Buildings), Trailer upgrade/Shortcuts
- Skull Cavern notes
- User:Techhead7890/cavern for daily supply costings
- Iridium Bar priorities: Pickaxe first.
Slime Hutch (unlocks egg drops), Iridium Band. Most of the remainder goes into sprinklers(can also buy from Krobus)? Later on it goes to Ginger Island Anchor, or Obelisks and Crystalariums. The Wizard quest is largely useless (only gives friendship) and Qi stuff (fertilizer) is way later. - Explosive Ammo is 3x coal per batch of 5, or 150g per shot if bought via Clint's shop, half that of buying from Marlon.
To do at some stage:
- rework Festivals and Proficiency
- Add Fruit Trees profitability charts to Season pages? Add Pineapple/taro to Summer crops?
- Should Beach and Ocean obelisks be synonyms/redirects to Water Obelisk? Would they be useful&helpful, or necessary?
- Should Cryptic Note redirect to Secret_Notes#Secret_Note_.2310 (.23 is remnants of the hash in URL-style %-encoding)
- Trying out in game:
- Dressed Spinner spam (now have the resources to crank these out and this might provide better yield than simply buying Trap Bobbers, especially with Treasure profession-spec for more rolls)
Consider fish by season by taking copies of Template:FishLocationHeader (see format at Template:FishLocations Town)This already appears to be subsections of the Seaon pages, see Spring#Fish.
