Talk:Butterfly Hutch

Would love someone to verify before I edit the page - more hutches = more butterflies, yeah? This seems anecdotally true, and I believe the code checks and adds randomized amounts of butterflies for each hutch (see function actionOnPlayerEntryOrPlacement where it refers to QualifiedItemId (F)1971 in Furniture.cs). Also may be worth noting that amount of butterflies does not scale with area size - i.e., an upgraded house will appear to be much less butterfly-filled than a starter house, because they are spread across a larger area. Was quite a bummer when I updated my house, until I realized I could stack hutches! ChloeCat (talk) 00:41, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
