Thorns not working as displayed on wiki

On the wiki there is some text that isn’t entirely accurate

“If the damage done to the farmer is less than 10, the damage done to the monster is instead the average between the damage done to the farmer and the unmitigated damage.”

What I would infer from this is that if say the UNMITIGATED damage would be say 20-30 the minimum damage they can do is always 10 to 15 at lowest…

I hoped to use the following…

two crab shell rings combined with thorns and napalm Fairy box

to delve deep into the skull cavern and use this to deal good damage vs high difficulty mobs passively while focusing on gathering, bombing and so on.

However what I see is dealing only damage equal to damage received ( a whole lot of 1’s), massively reducing the effectiveness of this ring when pairing it with maximum mitigation. LordSkruff (talk) 15:50, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
