It won't be found in the wild outside those days.

At Foraging Skill Level 4, two berries will be harvested from each bush instead of one. At Foraging Skill Level 8, three berries will be harvested from each bush.

Salmonberry has the lowest sell value of any foraged item, making it one of the few fruits that is worth more as a Jelly than a Wine. It can also make them more useful for gifting or eating than for selling.

Gifting

Salmonberry Wine is also the cheapest wine available for gifting.

Bundles

It is not used in any bundles, but it can be put into a Keg to make Salmonberry Wine, which can be donated to the Enchanter's Bundle at the Community Center Bulletin Board, the cheapest option for that donation.

Recipes

It is not used in any recipes, but it can be put in the Preserves Jar to make Salmonberry Jelly.

Quests

It is not used in any Quests.

Tip

While the game suggests gathering Salmonberries to get extra cash, its low sell value also makes it a cheap source of energy and health when eaten, and an inexpensive gift to those who like it. Spending the effort to gather them in quantity during their 4-day season can be especially valuable in year 1, when energy and gift resources alike are scarce. Attention to raising your Foraging level to 4 in the first two weeks (difficult but possible) can pay off double in giving you extra energy for early tasks after that. This approach can yield a total harvest of over 400 salmonberries in the first season (over 10,000 supplemental energy).
