Ancient Seeds are a type of seed. Mature plants yield Ancient Fruit.

Ancient Seeds (plus the Ancient Seeds recipe) are the reward for donating an Ancient Seed artifact to the Museum. Ancient Seeds can also be obtained through the Seed Maker or purchased at the Traveling Cart. When shipped, they sell for data-sort-value="30">30g.

Whenever the Seed Maker is used with any crop other than Ancient Fruit, there is a very small chance to obtain 1-3 Ancient Seeds instead of the crop's seeds.

Each Friday and Sunday, there is a 1.26% chance that the Travelling Cart will have Ancient Seeds in stock for data-sort-value="30"100–1,000g. The Travelling Cart will never sell the Ancient Seed artifact.
