Link Targets

Would anyone like to comment on the disagreement here? One editor wants the article's links to lead to less specific related targets, the other to more closely related targets. I have to ask, why would one not want a link to get as close as possible to text covering the objects of discussion in the source? Giles (talk) 00:20, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

Perhaps the editor who wants less specific targets can explain why their edit of 7 minutes later does not follow the same principle. Giles (talk) 00:29, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

I have done a global find/replace for links changed from the original that did not need to be so specific. If this page requires specific links, then let them be specific. margotbean (talk) 01:56, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

Luck and getting a Rabbit's Foot

The wiki states that "despite the description," luck does not influence the chance of getting a Rabbit's Foot.

I assume "the description" is referring to the in-game description, but as quoted on the wiki page itself, the description does not even suggest that luck influences getting one.

The wiki itself, however, DOES state that daily luck influences getting one. So this is confusing, misleading, or maybe just wrong.

Does the first sentence of the wiki entry need to be edited to remove the mention of daily luck? JohnJSal (talk) 01:57, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

The wiki says that luck buffs do not influence the chance of getting a Rabbit's Foot. Daily luck, on the other hand, does influence the chance of getting a Rabbit's Foot. The two concepts are related, but different. You can read more about the distinction between the two concepts on the Luck page.
