Apparently it increases damage you deal after a critical hit is applied, but before some other bonuses, including desperado.

Actual effects missing

Immunity and Defense pages clearly state how it affects your stats. The only reliable source of info I found on this was a forum post from over a year ago (hah!) complaining about this exact page not stating how it affects your attack damage (http://forums.stardewvalley.net/threads/can-someone-please-explain-how-a-attack-buff-actually-affects-combat.29807/post-130971). I'll just add that with the forum post as source. If someone has a better source (game code or stuff), you can add to it of course but the wiki really is missing that stuff. Mlem 28 July 2025
